The Gait Cycle is essentially the posture held while standing, walking and running. One key factor often overlooked in determining what good physical health is, is the posture you hold while running. Being able to run pain free means that the body can withstand higher amounts of stress without resulting in inflammatory responses that may lead to injury.
SELF MYOFASCIAL RELEASE
Myofascial Release is the action of releasing muscle and interwoven micro tissue fibers to re-gain proper continuity of adjoining muscles. The muscles and bones in our bodies are wrapped in a web-like substance called fascia; which when dehydrated, becomes a dense, tough tissue. When appropriate technique is implemented, tissues becomes more pliable and will be more receptive to corrective exercises and dynamic movement.
